Shipping policy

At 911 Comics, we take great care in packing and shipping your comics so they arrive safely and in the condition described.

This policy explains our available shipping options, packing schedule and delivery process.

Shipping methods

We currently offer the following delivery options within South Africa:

PUDO Locker (The Courier Guy)
Your parcel is delivered to a selected PUDO locker for collection.

PostNet to PostNet
Your parcel is sent from one PostNet branch to your chosen destination branch.

Courier to your address (The Courier Guy)
Door-to-door delivery to your home or business address.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or confirmed with you before dispatch.

Packing and dispatch schedule

To ensure careful handling and quality control, we pack orders on a fixed weekly schedule.

  • Orders are packed on Wednesdays and Thursdays
  • Parcels are dispatched on Fridays

Collections by the courier or drop-offs at PostNet or PUDO take place on Fridays.

Orders placed after Thursday may only be packed in the following week’s cycle.

Order cut-off

To be included in the current week’s dispatch:

  • Your order must be fully paid for by Thursday morning

Orders received after this time will be packed in the next packing cycle.

Delivery timeframes

Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method selected and your location.

As a general guide:

  • PUDO Locker and PostNet deliveries usually take 2 to 5 working days after dispatch
  • Courier to address deliveries usually take 1 to 3 working days after dispatch

These timeframes are estimates provided by the delivery partners and are not guaranteed.

Packaging standards

All comics are packed to protect condition and minimise transit risk.

This may include:

  • Individual bags and boards where applicable
  • Protective cardboard or rigid support
  • Bubble wrap and secure outer packaging

Higher-value, signed or graded items are packed with additional protection.

Tracking

Once your parcel has been dispatched, tracking details will be shared with you where available.

Delivery responsibility

Once your order has been handed over to the delivery service, delivery timing and handling are managed by the courier or branch network.

911 Comics is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by the courier or branch network
  • Incorrect delivery details supplied at checkout
  • Parcels not collected in time from lockers or branches

Collection and locker time limits

For PUDO and PostNet deliveries, customers are responsible for collecting their parcels within the time limits set by the service provider.

Uncollected parcels that are returned to us may incur a re-shipping fee.

Address accuracy

Please ensure your delivery address, locker selection or branch selection is correct at checkout.

We cannot take responsibility for delivery delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

Special arrangements

If you require:

  • Combined shipping for multiple orders
  • Special delivery timing
  • Alternative arrangements for high-value items
