Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #21, published by Marvel in 2007, is part of the 'Back in Black' storyline which features Spider-Man in his iconic black suit. Written by Peter David with artwork by Todd Nauck and colors by Campanella, this issue continues the darker, more intense themes of this era for Spider-Man. The cover art depicts Spider-Man in the black suit and a distressed Mary Jane Watson caught in a web, hinting at high stakes for Peter Parker and those close to him. As a modern era raw comic, this issue is suitable for collectors looking to complete their Spider-Man runs with mid-2000s material. Issue #21 falls in a period of significant events for the character and his supporting cast.
